Oh my, this day was very adventurous. The shoot almost never happened. The morning started with a downpour of rain which carried out through the afternoon. The session was cancelled and the make up artist did not show up. Knowing me, I am not a big fan of rescheduling shoots.
Around 3pm, I started to see a glimpse of the sun. I thought to myself... really, is this really happening? As I look down at my phone, I saw a text from Tracy asking if we can still do the shoot. I immediately said yes and made my way to our location. I knew I was ready to knock this engagement session out regardless of what happens.
Denisse and I got to the meeting location, got out the car to scout the area. Yeah, it was pretty hot that day and the humidity from the rain was no joke. I knew that we would need to take frequent breaks or Tracy & Thomas would dehydrate.
When Tracy and Thomas arrived, I realized that the had brought Bella along. Bella is the dog child and the love of their life. I was able to get some great shot of Bella along with Tracy and Thomas. We then moved to our second location which is a coffeehouse. We made out stop at Fillini in Rice Village. The staff their was amazing and let me shoot with no disruption.
Although we had such a bad start to the day, we were able to complete the task at hand. The pictures turned out awesome and I am happy to hear that Tracy and Thomas loved their photos.
